This strikingly gorgeous 19-year-old has some serious smarts, a heart of gold and a focus toward a mission. A mission to attend Dickinson College in the fall. This amazing human is my youngest cousin. I was 10 when she was born, little Miss Katie Scarlett, and now here she is graduating and going to take on the world. We had originally planned to capture her senior portraits back in February in New York City. She lives in New Jersey, just a short car or train ride into the city, but our trip didn’t give us good yummy photo capturing weather so we scrapped that idea and said we’ll figure it out later. Then it hit us, the lake house! Every year Grandpa & Grandma have rented a lake house at Fairview Lake in the Poconos. Every year, Katie has gone and spent a week or two on this crystal blue escape. This year, I was finally going to be able to get up there as well. It’s one of Katie’s most favorite places on the planet so it only made sense to capture her portraits here. We, fortunately, were blessed with ONE evening of no rain and some warm sun to capture her portraits.

Congratulations Katie Cat!! I am so proud of the woman you have become and am eager to continue to watch you grow and see what amazing blessings you bring to the world!
