I absolutely love that this business is keeping me connected with old friends. Andrew and I were friends while students at Salisbury University. We haven’t seen eachother or spoken in probably about seven or eight years since I graduated in 2011. He reached out to me a few weeks ago to share he had a little baby on the way and they were due any day. So we set up the plans and what felt like a couple days later, he emailed me to say that baby girl Blake joined their sweet family on May 28th. I got to meet Blake, Julie (Andrew’s wife) and their adorable dapple dachshund, Oscar a few days after that for their Canton Newborn Portraits. We started their portraits in their Canton rowhome in Blake’s nautical themed nursery. Her nursery, of course, had a few Baltimore nods because what self respecting Baltimore living family doesn’t decorate their home with some Baltimore features. After we captured some portraits at home, we drove down to the Canton waterfront for a few outdoor portraits. We don’t normally do this for newborn sessions, but when you have a gorgeous day and waterfront views, it’s a must! Julie and Andrew, Congratulations on the arrival of Blake. She is absolutely adorable and such a sweetheart.
