Our very dear friends, Heidi and Rob, had their baby in January. If you remember their maternity portraits at Buzzards Rock Trail blog post, I was guessing the baby would be a girl! Well, I am excited to say, I was right!! Ms. Layla Marie was born on January second. I met up with them at their Eldersburg home for her at home lifestyle newborn portraits. I for one am in love with how they came out. The way the colors work, the light, her adorableness. I love each image more than the last. Honestly, these portraits make me ready for spring! Anyone else? During her portraits, she kept throwing her one arm up and it became a joke “Yes Layla, do you have a question?” To the point that a few days later, Heidi took a picture of her sleeping, arm up and said, “Ms. Meghan, I have a question.” We, of course, had to include Zeke in the portraits and even tried to get a picture of the two of them together but he still has no idea what to do with her that he refused to sit near her and kept looking the opposite direction but he’s such a good boy, you can tell once he’s figured her out a little bit more he’s going to be such an amazing big brother and protect that little girl.

Heidi and Rob own cows and someday hope to own a full cow farm. A friend of theirs gave them this cow hat and cow blanket and so naturally we had to grab a few portraits of Layla in this adorableness!
