Jerad is a laid back, go with the flow, I’ll do whatever Julianna tells me to do kinda guy. Julianna is a planner, with ideas upon ideas and the sweetest kindest soul on the face of the planet. They’re pretty much the perfect pair. So I was a little surprised to hear that Jerad choose the location for their maternity portraits. I’ve been photographing these two since 2018 when we did their engagement portraits. Then they were married in 2019 and in 2020 we did their 1st anniversary portraits at Devil’s Den. Now, I’m photographing and documenting and vision and dream they’ve had since long before 2018. They’re finally becoming parents (ok actually by the time I’m finally writing this, they’ve become parents and I’ve photographed their newborn portraits…those coming soon!) I met these two for their Codorus State Park Maternity Portraits at one of Jerad’s favorite fishing spots. We followed Jerad down the long windy wooded paths, all of us in shoes, Jerad completely barefoot. He’s truly a country boy! The paths led to the most beautiful water views which Julianna envisioned exploring in her white dress. A beautifully warm summer morning spent exploring with these, talking pregnancy, parenthood and answered prayers.
