I’ve been photographing this amazing family since I captured Courtney and John’s engagment portraits in 2015. Their Meridian Hill Park Family Portraits session was supposed to take place last year for Lincoln’s first birthday portraits, but then of course weather showed up and life took over and this session was rescheduled probably about five times! But we finally get it to work and met two weeks ago. Even though it was overcast and we were worried the skies were going to open any minute, they didn’t and held off long enough for us to get through the session. Of course, as with all sessions that involve a 18 month old, the session moves quickly and involves alot of running around. We played with rocks, sticks, dirt and of course dandelions. We had a blast and as a result we captured some really adorable portraits of the three of them together.
