Kirsten and I were friends and co workers about 8-9 years ago while we were working at Picture People in Columbia. We had the job in common but we also shared the passion for photography. Flash forward a few years and we both have started our own photography businesses. Kirsten is in the process of just starting up and needed a few head shots for her website, so she reached out and asked if I’d be willing to help her out. Duh! Of course!! So we met up at the Howard County Court House to use their outside walkway which creates the most beautiful light no matter the time of day or the weather – it’s just a little photographer’s dream! After a few shots there, we made our way to this little hidden spot that I found and grabbed some shots down there. My favorite shots of her are the ones with her laughing.
