“Every kibble is a diamond in disguise”. One night while Gracella & Josh were sleeping, Roo (rescued mixed breed pup) decided it was a good idea to pounce on Cooper (Josh’s cat) who was eating a bowl of kitty kibble on the beside table. A ruckus ensued and kibble ended up everywhere – bed, between bedsheets, floor, etc. Gracella & Josh got up in the middle of the night to clean it all up – or so we thought. The next morning, Gracella was slowly waking up reading her iPad while Josh got up to stretch as usual. Without Gracella realizing it, Josh decided to stretch on the floor next to Gracella’s side of the bed instead of by foot of the bed like he normally does. Suddenly, Josh says, “Oh no, looks like we missed some kibble” and Gracella being the neat freak she is says “No, where?!” and out comes the ring with Josh smiling. Now there’s a running joke – every time kibble pieces are on the floor, Gracella may get a diamond. I hope for her case, that’s true, how fun would that be?! But instead, I think Gracella might agree that she would trade all the diamonds if it meant marrying Josh at their rainy day wedding at Dutch’s Daughter over and over again. The weather wasn’t perfectly ideal. Actually it was a hurricane that hit the weekend of their wedding. Fortunately though, the two didn’t seem to be bothered or even care. For them, they were just there to finally be married and that happened no matter the weather outside. We started the morning at a hotel getting ready before heading over to Saint Paul Church in Damascus for the ceremony and wrapping up the day at Dutch’s Daughter in Frederick. It was a wonderful day celebrating these two sweet souls.

Gracella and Josh, Congratulations!! Thank you so much for having us there to capture such an important day for the two of you. We loved spending it with you and helping you celebrate. Here’s to an incredible marriage, full of love, laughter, joy and so much adventure!
