I’ve known Maddie since she was, two maybe. Her older sister Alex was in my brother’s class from preschool all the way up through high school graduation. It was fun to see her again and catch up on life, it’s been years, since I’ve seen them. We discussed after school plans, how Covid is affecting her senior year (I’ll let you in on the not so big secret, it’s ruining it) and all things life. She’s back and forth between two thoughts but tends to lean toward special education but the idea of being a child life specialist also tugs on her heart strings. Fortunately for her, my sister is a CLS at one of the country’s premiere PICU’s at University of Maryland and so I got them connected, hopefully once covid calms down and visitors are allowed back in the hospitals, Maddie can visit and explore the CLS vision some more. We were blessed with an absolutely stunning fall morning for Maddie’s Seneca Creek State Park Senior Portraits and this girl ROCKED her session!
Maddie, congratulations my dear! I pray you find the most perfect career path that will fill you with complete joy and fulfillment with life. Here’s to your senior year and while it definitely hasn’t been how you’ve always envisioned it, I hope you’re able to see some good in it.
