You might remember little Miss. Sophia from her 6 month session & her Christmas Mini.

She’s pretty stinkin adorable. And she’s only getting cuter by the minute.

I met up with her and her wonderful parents at their adorable house in Silver Spring on Saturday. The purpose, Miss. Sophia is 1! Instead of your typical cake smash session, mom and dad opted for a little bit of a different route. We did a lifestyle session. Which of course, I LOVED. I just love lifestyle sessions, nothing like taking birthday pictures that capture your child exactly how they are with their favorite toys and activities, in their main environment. I think they tell such a story. I just love them.

This session actually goes along with a new style session I’m offering this year, Saturday Mornings! Basically I show up at your house on a Saturday morning and just hang out with you guys while you go about your normal Saturday morning at home–making pancakes in your PJs and playing on the floor, whatever it is that is your family’s Saturday morning…

Anyways, more on that another time. Back to Miss. Sophia.
