Summer Date Night Ideas
With the start of summer, it’s time to continue this year’s blog series about date nights and move onto Summer Date Night Ideas.

Lake Kittamuqundi
The Lake offers a ton of different types of outdoor options to explore all summer. From concerts, to outdoor movies, to festivals. And the best part, it’s always free! So grab a pizza from Whole Foods and head down for a movie or a concert. Click here for the schedule of events.

Get dinner to-go and head on over to the airplane park
Nick and I did this a few years ago, I grabbed some subs from Giant and some chips, cookies and drinks. We drove over to the airplane park and took Jake along. We sat in the car watching the airplanes take off and land and just ate some dinner and chatted. It was relaxing, simple and cheap but gave us some uninterrupted time to just connect with each other.

Go for Ice Cream
I feel like this is a no-brainer! But maybe instead of going to the same spot you always swing by and grab ice cream from, give a new spot a try. Last summer Baltimore Magazine ranked the top 20 ice cream spots in the area. Here’s the article so you can find the perfect spot!

Go Mini-Golfing
Because why not!? Here’s a list of different spots in the area.

Orioles Game or Frederick Keys
A classic summer option. Grab a dog, a beer and cheer on the team!

Grab some brunch
Waffles, mimosas! Does it get any better? Yes when you’re with the one you love it does.

Six Flags
Ride the rides, grab the yummy foods. It’s a whole day date full of fun!

Crab Feast
Because we’re Marylanders duh! What’s a summer without crabs. Whether you go out to a restaurant and get some there, or grab some from the market and bring them home – either way sitting around the table outside with some crabs and beer is a perfect way to spend the evening.

Outdoor Movie at Home
This is actually something a highschool boyfriend did for me. We sat in the bed of his truck, with blankets and pillows pilled up. He grabbed a 2×4 and layed it across the bed in front of us, put his laptop on top and threw a movie in. We had popcorn and movie candy and soda. It was a ton of fun and cost him next to nothing, other than the cost of the food.

Aquarium
Get away from the heat of the summer and check out some fishys and learn lots of things! Then grab some lunch at one of the restaurants in the Harbor.
