I got to meet Colleen and Collin for their summer engagement portraits at Howard County Conservancy on a perfect early summer afternoon. Howard County Conservancy is so great because you can come here with tons of couples but always end up with different results! We follow the sunlight! During our session I quickly learned that once Colleen and Collin are hand in hand, or snuggled close. Which meant that I didn’t have to direct them in anyway. That next pose they naturally fell into always became my favorite image. Also, practicing a slow dance and spin during engagement sessions has become a staple for me because it always results in multiple attempts and laughs. It was fun watching Colleen and Collin nail these portraits, Collin even decided he wanted to go for a spin! We talked about wedding planning, and how things are starting to come together. We’re all very excited for their Fall wedding at Overhills Mansion!
