“When you arrived today, you were given a stone to hold in your hand during the wedding ceremony. Megan and Brett collected these stones on hikes they had together as symbols for you to utilize here today. As you now hold the stone in your hands, I encourage you to send to them your love, good wishes and heartfelt blessings that you would like to give to them on their wedding day and for them to remember throughout their marriage. The stones will serve as a lasting reminder of your presence at their wedding and of the special love that they shared on this momentous occasion. As Megan and Brett now exchange their vows, I would like to invite you to hold the blessing stone tightly in your hand, close your eyes and reflect for a moment your wishes for this couple. Wishes of love, happiness, prosperity and unity.” Rachael of Ceremony by Rachael proceeded to lead Megan and Brett in their vows as their family and friends blessed the stones that would travel with them from their beautiful The Lodges at Gettysburg Fall Wedding throughout their marriage.
Megan and Brett were blessed with an absolutely perfect October Pennsylvania wedding. Simple fall details decorated the rustic Gettysburg venue where their friends and family gathered to celebrate them. When I arrived to Megan’s bridal suite, she proceeded to hand me three crocheted stuffed Dinosaurs for Jack! Getting to know Megan and Brett through their wedding planning process was such an honor. Congratulations you two!! Hope your new Atlanta adventure is amazing!
