Kim & Tim headed to the Doctor on December 1st for a routine check-up and to get some blood work taken…about 10 hours later, they had a brand new baby boy in their arms.

As Kim announced on Facebook, “This Cyber Monday Tim and I got the best deal ever! We went in for bloodwork and came out with a baby! Meet Vincent Hugh. He arrived last night and was 3 weeks early but still weighed in at 7lbs 11oz and is 19.5 “.

Tim text me Monday to let me know there’d be a surprise boy coming any minute now and asked if I was ready for our hospital session, you see Mr. Vincent came 3 weeks early! But even though he was so early, he was still a very healthy and happy baby. Something to thank God for! So of course, I said yes! I am ready.

The next morning I headed into the hospital to see this awesome family, meet Mr. Vincent and to photograph the moment when little Ms. V got to meet her brand new baby brother. Oh how I just love love love these sessions. Honestly, I think these might be my favorite. I have such a privilege getting the opportunity to capture the big sibling meeting their new one for the first time and the joy these little people have for this new family member is just so heart warming. Every. Single. Time.

It’s like they just know instantly that this thing their looking at is theirs. That there is no other person in the world who will ever know, understand or love them like their new sibling. (Even if they’re only 16 months old and barely know about the world themselves, like little Ms. V here)

I will never ever get over watching and capturing sessions like these. Oh how I love them!
