I really can’t believe this little lady is one already. I feel like I just took her newborn pictures–amazing how fast a year can fly by.

She rocked her first birthday–we grabbed some shots in her nursery…mind you her PURPLE nursery (in case you weren’t aware…purple is my favorite color!–she’s a girl after my own heart). We rocked an adorable purple dress and then the amazing tutu and crown! She’s just such a beautiful little darling. After awhile, we headed down stairs to take a break and grab a few snacks (you know muenster cheese–yeah a one year old that eats and loves muenster cheese, how awesome is that!)

After our short little break, I got to learn this really cool thing about the Korean Culture. On their first birthday, they’re sat in front of a line of items. For Vivienne, we had a golf ball, musical instrument, money, apple, book, thread, tape measure. And then you just let them gravitate toward an item. The first item they grab forecasts what they will be when they grow up. It’s actually really cool!!

Well, Ms. Vivienne, can’t do things like everyone else does things–you know crawl to one item and pick it up. No–she is so so so much smarter and ambitious for that. Instead, she started out by pulling the blanket with the items toward her–so she didn’t have to crawl…ok smartie pants! And then she grabbed three items–the golf ball, money & the musical instrument. So she is going to be an athletic musician whose rich. Sounds like a perfect plan to all of us! Go get it girl!!

Happy First Birthday Baby Girl!! So excited to watch you grow up 😀
