What a perfect summer day for
Gettysburg Battlefield Engagement Portraits. Blue skies, white clouds. Sure, the high of 78 degrees wasn’t always pleasant but under the trees it actually felt cool and breezy. We started our afternoon session at Molly’s parents house. The backyard was perfect and beautifully landscaped! Coral Bells, Autumn Joy Seedum, Mint, Lavender, lots of greenery and thick trees that provided shade to keep us cool! I got a quick intro to some new plants from Molly’s parents, that was awesome!
From here we drove through a part of the historic battlefield. Molly did an awesome job scouting our next location, an open field with a stone barn! If you’ve never explored the Gettysburg Battlefields, you should definitely plan a day trip… there is so much to see and learn it really deserves a whole weekend. I especially love seeing the historic buildings, the preservation of these buildings is pretty incredible. While we’re on the topic of preservation, Molly’s dad has a 1969 MG B… in mint condition! It was pretty cool to see this classic car cruising down the windy one-way roads! It deserved its own photoshoot, so Molly and Sean hopped in and looked extra cute together. They were ready to drive off into the sunset!
It was so fun to finally meet Molly and Sean in person (thanks COVID for making us wait), they did a fantastic job during their session, and made my job easy. Can’t wait for their September wedding!
