Erin and Joe’s St. Katharine Drexel Wedding was captured by one of my associate photographers, Sam. So I’ll hand the blog over to Sam to share her memories of the day!

It was a hot day on August 17th, luckily we got to rejoice inside with a/c. The beautiful St Katharine Drexel Catholic Church has bright white walls with dark wood framing, gorgeous stain glass window details on both sides of the church and a large center platform for weekly services with a smaller bump out towards the very front of the church. This was the area we celebrated Erin and Joe on their official wedding day. Here their immediate families and best friends (Maid of Honor and Best Man) came together to watch as these two pledge their lives to each other.  They had a couple family members read quotes, both Erin and Joe’s mom read a passage, Erin and Joe even read their own wedding vows for the first of two times (that’s an inside joke because it was part of Erin’s vows). Finally, Deacon Tim said you can kiss your bride and officially announced them as Mr. and Mrs. Joe Welty. The lovebirds exited the ceremony space hand in hand with big smiles. We got everyone together for a quick family portrait before heading outside to take bride and groom photos. Erin & Joe were natural models. They held hands, gave each other the cutest smiles, snuggled and kissed which resulted in joyous, loving and genuine portraits. Erin and Joe’s St. Katharine Drexel Wedding was a perfect day to start their forever!
