“Individually, you’re incredible. Together, you’re unstoppable.” The light rain pattered on the white tent overhead and splashed up from the blacktop below us. The glow of the street lights showed off the rain drops while the passing cars down 6th Street sloshed the soaked street. Guests sat six to a table, spread apart, bundled in scarves and jackets as they kept warm from the frigid October evening. The tent was lit up with warm lights for Heather and Andrew’s Blackwall Hitch Annapolis Wedding. Casey, Andrew’s best man, spoke of his and Andrew’s twenty year friendship. The road they’ve walked together and where it has brought the two of them. Casey was present the night Andrew and Heather met. I’m pretty sure there will never come a time, that Casey will ever let Andrew live down his pickup line to Heather. Heather and Andrew’s Blackwall Hitch Annapolis Wedding, was definitely hit with multiple Covid curveballs. As most, actually all 2020 couples’ weddings have been. I don’t think I can write a blog post from a wedding this year that doesn’t mention the curveballs Covid has thrown at them. Then on top of the curveballs, the forecast for their wedding day was bleak. It called for all day downpours. However, during portrait time, God answered Heather’s prayers and blessed them with some sun pushing through the clouds. It was an absolutely beautiful day spent celebrating these two. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they finally got to celebrate the next chapter in their love story.

Heather and Andrew, it has been an absolute pleasure working with you guys over the last year. Thank you so much for asking me to be there for you guys and for trusting me as you have. For sharing your lives with me. I look forward to future time together and I wish you both the absolute best and a life full of complete joy. I’m so blessed and excited that you were able to both decide out of all the photographers you interviewed, I was to be the one who got to spend the day with you!
