As I rode in the party bus with Mike and his groomsman from the InterContinental Washington DC – The Wharf where they all got ready to the wedding venue, The District Winery, we thought for sure the rain had stopped long enough for us to make it inside. That was until we pulled up to the venue and the heavens opened. The quick run from the party bus on the street to the front of the District Winery, left us soaked! Fortunately the guys were able to cover themselves with their luggage so not to ruin their suits and military attire. Hillary and Mike’s District Winery Wedding that I was the second shooter for Anny Photography for was a day covered in rain at the start but ended with a blast of a sparkler exit and the two newlyweds riding off in their vintage car.
